Semester is essentially over and I figure a new journal is in order. Finished my first semester at SVA and things went pretty well as far as I know. Tough stuff, and next semester is even tougher, but fun. Good people, fun work, interesting classes. So that's one thing.

Another thing, my presence here on dA. I'm not quite sure how to put it, I've never been one for online communities. Forums and whatnot just never hold interest for long periods of time. I've tried MMO's, Gaia Online, etc. and nothing keeps me interested. dA managed to keep it much longer than most, but I find my enthusiasm fading. Nothing against it, I think it's great. I'm just starting to get bored with it.

Maybe I would stay if the new art on the front page was more than just anime and photography. Again, nothing against it, I'm just getting bored with it. If this site were more like cghub or had less anime and more art in the same vein as most of the people on my friends list maybe I would have stuck with it. I'm not sure.

This is not my official farewells or anything, I'm just stating that my presence here might become even more scarce. Maybe it will increase once I get better at art and post a bit more. I have no idea.
